Fall is coming tonight! Here’s what’s going on, mostly from the WSB West Seattle Events Calendar:

COMMUNITY PLAY DATE: 4:30-6:30 p.m. to West Seattle Community School“open to all former, current, future and potential CSWS families”.

BUGS AND BREWS: 5:30 p.m. to West Seattle Senior Center (4217 SW Oregon), check out the bugs with Jen from tiny sciencewith drinks available for purchase.

EQUINOX SUNSET WATCH WITH ALICE: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Solstice Park (7400 Fauntleroy Way SW, upstream from the tennis court) – join Alice Enevolsen for its informative and fun quarterly sunset watch, a tradition that dates back more than a decade. Free, all welcome.

READING/SIGNATURE OF JOE DRAKE’S BOOK: Meet the local runner/writer tonight at West Seattle Runner (2743 California SW; WSB sponsor), 6:00 p.m.

ULTIMATE AT WALT HUNDLEY: 6 p.m., Thursday night, the ultimate pickup games of the summer moved to Walt Hundley Playground (34th/Myrtle).

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY: Free course on managing your finances, starting tonight at 6 p.m. West of Seattle (Admiral) Library (2306 42nd SW) – information and registration details are in our calendar listing.

DEMOCRATIC WOMEN OF WEST SEATTLE: 6:15pm online – the registration deadline has passed but you can try emailing to see if the link is still available. Contact information and other details are in our calendar listing.

WEST SEATTLE TRANSPORTATION COALITION: New SDOT Director Greg Spotts will speak with WSTC at the 6:30 p.m. online meeting tonight. Also planned, a post-reopening update on the West Seattle Bridge, and a presentation on the city Artistic Interrupts program. Our calendar list contains information on how to participate/attend.

BOARD GAMES EVENING: Go play on Meeples Games (3727 California SW), from 6:30 p.m.

THE COUNTRY BENBOW EVENING: Thursday “Nashville Nights“continue to Benbow Room (4210 SW Admiral Way), 9 p.m. 21+.
