Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands classes, environments, spells and melee mechanics revealed

Many new gameplay details have been provided for Little Tina’s Wonderland.

Today, Gearbox Software is giving us details on the Stabbomancer and Brr-zerker classes, new magical environments like Butt Stallion’s Castle, an overview of spells and melee mechanics, and much more.

In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you can create your own hero through appearance customization and a multi-class system that lets you mix and match six different character skill trees. Two of these classes include the aforementioned Stabbomancer and Brr-Zerker.

Stabbomancers are devious, critical-hit assassins who use magical swirling blades and can vanish into the shadows at will. They can also exploit an enemy’s weaknesses to stealthily take them down before they know what happened.

Brr-Zerkers are frost-infused murderers whose firepower can be combined with melee attacks. In combat, they like to fight up close and personal, taking up a position on the front lines.

In addition to an overview of two of the classes, you’ll find information about the environments, including mushroom forests, pirate coves, and a wide range of locations in Wonderland. These environments feature their own story missions, side quests, enemies, and more that will be discovered as you progress through the game.

Some of the places to explore include Brighthoof, which is the ‘crown jewel’ of the kingdom of Queen Butt Stallion. This capital of Wonderland is protected by the Diamond Guard, but for some reason it has been “reduced” by nefarious enemies. The area includes Butt Stallion Castle, Castle Sparklewithers, which shines so bright that the Queen is bathed in its light.

There is also Sunfang Oasis which features lush foliage, lagoons and large ruins of extinct civilizations. While this might sound a bit like a nice place to hang out, it’s home to the fierce Coiled, which will apparently give you some trouble.

You will find a city in the sky thanks to the Tangledrift Bean. This ecosystem provides a noble lifestyle in their high-rise homes, but just because these people live above ground doesn’t mean they are out of reach.

In the game you will attempt to defeat the dragon lord, and during your quest you will encounter a variety of monsters, from legged sharks to sentient skeletons.

This includes the Skeleton Army, which was once just people resting in their graves. Sadly, eternal rest was not meant to be, as the Dragon Lord reanimated their remains to become his soldiers in an unwavering army.

To help you fight the army of skeletons and other enemies, the game features powerful weapons, spells and melee weapons.

Spellcasting can be used against enemies, and with most spells having a short cooldown, you can frequently cast magic with your fingertips. Some spells will only bite enemies, and you can detonate them with fire or send them flying with a mini-tornado. Other spells are more useful, such as giving you and your allies some protection or reduced cooldowns.

In addition to guns and spells, you can keep a dedicated melee weapon constantly equipped and ready for use in battle. He’s unlikely to take over the gun in your right hand and pull it out in your left hand, but a few close shots added to the mix will change things up a bit.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will release on March 25 on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC through the Epic Games Store exclusively at launch, and on other PC digital storefronts later in 2022.
