MECHANIC FALLS – Robert C. Berry, 82, of Mechanic Falls, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, with his loving family by his side. He was born September 21, 1939, the son of Warren and Doris (Crooker) Berry.

Robert married the love of his life, Barbara Ray, on September 3, 1960 and together they raised five children.

He attended local schools and began his career as a machinist with Pioneer Plastics in Auburn where he retired after 36 years. He then worked for Bryant Energy for 15 years and cultivated fields with Dr Murch in Oxford. He loved NASCAR racing, woodworking, house maintenance, scratch tickets, Camel Reds and vanilla milkshakes.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, his daughter Penny and her husband Jay Bryant of Mechanic Falls, his son Bruce Berry of Kansas City, Mo., his son David and his wife Lisa Berry of Oxford, his daughter Jenny and his husband Wayne Usher of Poland, son Scott and wife Angie Berry of Mechanic Falls, nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Androscoggin Home Hospice for their exceptional care and service.

In accordance with Robert’s wishes, all services will be private.
