He plans to sell more 850cc gull-winged vehicles for £ 20,000 in Newquay, Cornwall.
The inventor says “there has been interest from all over the world.”
But despite the approval of moviegoers, Ty was struck with a legal warning for “trademark infringement and deceptive marketing”.
A letter from Shakespeare Martineau law firm states: “Although our client notes that you claim to be the son of John DeLorean, being the son of John DeLorean does not give you the right to use the UK registered trademarks of our client without their permission, or to convey your business as in any way related or approved by our client’s business.
