Local Living: Blythewood Oktoberfest, car show in Cayce this weekend and more!


COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Local Living with ABC Columbia is brought to you by Allure Medical.

Once again, Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin’s annual March Against Domestic Violence goes virtual. On Saturday, October 9, participants are invited to join us and show their support by walking around their neighborhood, local parks and other outdoor spaces around the city. Blythewood is hosting its third annual Oktoberfest this weekend! It’s 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday. There will be food, drinks and activities for the kids. You can also hike the Doko Meadows Park Trail and visit local historic sites. Free entry.

The Cayce Moose Lodge is having an auto show on Saturday. Registration opens at 9 a.m. and judging begins at 11 a.m. If you would like to pre-register, you can call 803-955-0810. It costs $ 20 to register in advance, but admission is free and open to the public.

It’s almost time to strike halfway. ABC Columbia wants to give you a chance to win a family pack at the South Carolina State Fair! It includes four entrance tickets and two transport vouchers.
