Hot Rods for Hunger Auto Show Supports Storehouse to Feed Local Families

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Local automobile club, MOPAR Most Wanted, is hosting an auto show to benefit the Storehouse New Mexico Food Pantry. The event, Hot Rods for Hunger takes place on Saturday July 10 at the Albertsons market in Juan Tabo and Candelaria.

New Mexico warehouse Auto show chairman and organizer Nathan Sanchez provides details of this upcoming event. Register online or at the event for only $ 25.

The first 20 registrants will receive a free Storehouse cooler tote bag. The auto show will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature many unique vintage and classic cars, food trucks, a raffle and more. Those entering the lounge by car are asked to arrive at 9 a.m. to register and park before the public arrives.

All proceeds from the event go to the Storehouse, which provides food to 45,000 hungry New Mexicans per year, of whom approximately 10,000 of their customers are children. For every dollar raised, the Storehouse is able to provide five meals to those in need.
