Claremont Senior Center News: December 31, 2021 | Community

As of Monday, December 13, the Claremont Senior Center is closed until further notice. This is due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in our region. Drive-through lunches and rentals will continue for the time being. This action was carried out for the safety and protection of our seniors.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year. Even with COVID, we hope you have had the chance to be with family, friends or lovers.

Miracle Ear, Blood Drive, and VNA Foot Clinic will continue as planned.

We always organize our meals at the wheel on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Here is the menu for next week:

Soup, fresh stuffed peppers, rice, vegetables, dessert.

Soup, BBQ chicken thighs, potato salad, vegetables, dessert.

You must call 603-543-5998 before 10:30 a.m. to reserve your meal. Members $ 4, non-members $ 5. Pick up at the wheel is from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Meals are always subject to change.

Yes, we still have 2022 Claremont Senior Center Car Show calendars available. It features the winners of this year’s 2021 auto show, each month featuring a photo of a winning vehicle from a different class. Only $ 12 when picking up at the center, add $ 6 shipping and handling for each schedule if we mail to you. Call 603-543-5998 and we’ll make an appointment for pickup.

The January Foot Clinics are scheduled for Thursday January 6, Wednesday January 12, Wednesday January 19, and Wednesday January 26. You must call 603-748-1731 to make an appointment with them. The fee is $ 25.

There will be a blood drive at the Center on Monday January 10. Please call 1-800-RED-CROSS to make an appointment. We thank everyone who donates.
